Open to all varieties of pets – dogs, cats, lizards, chickens, horses, pigs, hamsters, alpaca – if you take care of it, love it and truly believe it’s the best pet then it qualifies. The winning pet (and human family) will receive a prize package worth $300 and a photo shoot, from which selected images of the winning pet and family will appear on one full page photo spread in the October issue of Montana Parent Magazine. Second and third place winners will receive prize packages valued at $200 and $100, respectively, and honorable mention with their submission photo in the October issue.

Contest deadlines:

• August 15th :: Entry deadline
• August 17th :: Contest goes live on www.mtparent.com for voting!
• Sept. 1st :: Voting closes
• Sept. 2-8 :: Photo Shoot (to be arranged with contest winner)

Contestants (open to all ages) must reside in Southwest Montana and have availability to be in Bozeman for the photo shoot during a mutually agreeable time (between photographer and winner) during the week of September 2-8, 2012. To enter, submit a photo and short description of your pet and tell us why they are the best.
