So we've outlined the plan. I love it because it is broken down into bite sized chunks, but how do you stay motivated? Well, one thing you can do is create some positive peer pressure around you.
- Tell your friends and family that you are going to run the Sweet Pea 5k and that you are excited to train for it.
- Make a weekly calender and plug in an hour 3 times a week for training (You really should only need the 1/2 hour for training and the 15 minutes on each side is wiggle room to socalize and to get to and from your workout.)
- Join Run Bozeman through the Montana Parent - Runs Like a Girl - Couch to 5k for FREE and meet up with other people who are working toward the same thing.
- Leave comments about how you are doing here to get support and encouragement.
As we've said before, if you are simply not a joiner and you want to be part of this by either getting online encouragement or you want to join Run Bozeman with us but do not want to post on the blog, send us an email and we will get you on the list.
